Position: Personal Advisor
Location: Delamere Street, CW1 2JZ
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 2+ Months
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £15.84 Per hour

Job Responsibilities
Provide direct support and guidance to young people, including care leavers, as they transition to adulthood
Develop, review and update pathway plans in line with statutory requirements
Support young people with education, employment, training and independent living skills
Act as a key point of contact, offering advice, advocacy and practical assistance
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure appropriate support is in place
Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with council procedures
Carry out safeguarding duties and escalate concerns where necessary
Support access to housing, benefits and other relevant services
Person Specification
Must-Have Requirements
Relevant qualification in social care, health or a related field
Experience working with young people, preferably care leavers or vulnerable groups
Good understanding of leaving care legislation and statutory guidance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise workload effectively
Competent IT skills and experience using case management systems
Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Previous experience within a local authority setting
Knowledge of pathway planning and safeguarding frameworks
Experience working in a multi-agency environment
Understanding of housing, welfare and benefits systems for young people
